I would advise [future participants] to make the best out of their visit, not only on the educational side but also on the cultural. They should also seek to make good use of opportunities of research collaboration. The visit should not only be an interesting exposure to a foreign educational system but it should be fully integrated on the Erasmus scholar’s career path and the (host and) sending institution’s strategic objectives.
