Now schools have one more tool to facilitate their Erasmus+ applications and their efforts in successfully finding partners for their Erasmus+ Programme. The School Education Gateway is a single point of entry for teachers, schools, experts and others in the school education field. It presents European education policy, news, trends, expert articles, national initiatives, and actions for schools, areas for interaction, educational project best practices and additional resources.

The School Education Gateway is funded by Erasmus+, the European programme for Education, Training, Youth and Sport. It is operated for the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Commission by European Schoolnet, an international partnership of 31 European Ministries of Education developing learning for schools, teachers and pupils across Europe and is linked to eTwinning, the community for schools in Europe.

The eTwinning platform is available for schools and teachers only. The School Education Gateway focuses on European action for schools, bringing policy and practice closer to teachers. This website  is public and therefore open to other educational stakeholders in order to encourage cooperation between schools and other organizations.
