I was invited to Athens for a five day Staff Training Week at the AUEB in June 2016.
During that week, I was able to learn about student mobility in Europe, share best practices with peers and create new relationships with people from various countries of the world. My colleague and I presented the North American reality and the way we work on our side of the Atlantic. It was the first time that non-European participants were invited. This brought an interesting mix of people, views and realities and led to very useful discussions that benefited everyone involved.

The international team of the AUEB were extremely welcoming and helpful throughout this experience. I would recommend others to apply to the Erasmus+ funding and participate in future editions of the Staff Training Week and I hope to partake again myself.

The whole experience was very nice; I made not only new contacts but new friendships and discovered the beautiful city of Athens. Hopa!
