More than 150 Aegean University professors, students and professionals, from a variety of fields, attended the Erasmus+ Info Day at Chios on the 5th of April which was organized by the State Scholarship Foundation.
Effie Basdra, president of the Administrative Board of IKY, stated in her welcoming speech: "Chios proved that it is an island worth visiting. Your dynamic attendance here today gives us strength to continue informing people about Erasmus+ all over the country". Mr Manolis Vournous, Chios Mayor, praised IKY and emphasized the importance of good practices transference, in-depth education and extroversion as the Erasmus+ programme’s basic qualities.
The conference overall was a very positive experience for all the participants, providing vital information and a long-term vision of the benefits of Erasmus+.
