The State Scholarships Foundation, in the framework of the Operational Programme “Education and Life Long Learning” within the National Strategic Reference Framework (2007-2013) implemented the Action “Scholarships Programmes by the State Scholarships Foundation”. IKY, with its own resources, implemented this Project, which co- financed by the European Social Fund and the Public Investments Programme, for the period from 01/3/2007 to 31/12/2014.

The project awarded scholarships to Greek nationals who hold degrees awarded by Greek Higher Education Institutions or by accredited institutions of abroad, and who wish to acquire a Master’s degree in Greece or abroad. By the termination of the Project more than 370 postgraduate degrees will have been obtained.
