Το Ίδρυμα Κρατικών Υποτροφιών ανακοινώνει την υπογραφή Μνημονίου Συνεργασίας με το πανεπιστήμιο της Κίνας  Anhui University of Chinese Medicine με στόχο την επιμόρφωση μελών  ΔΕΠ των Ιατρικών Σχολών των ελληνικών Ιδρυμάτων Ανώτατης Εκπαίδευσης σε θέματα Παραδοσιακής Κινεζικής Ιατρικής. Το Μνημόνιο υπεγράφη στις 28/11/2023 στα γραφεία του Ι.Κ.Υ. μεταξύ του Προέδρου του ΔΣ του Ιδρύματος,  ομ. Καθηγητή κ. Μιχαήλ Κουτσιλιέρη και του καθηγητή Ιατρικής και Party Secretary του Anhui University of Chinese Medicine κ. Wang Qi. Στην κινεζική αντιπροσωπεία που συνόδευσε τον κ. Wang Qi για την υπογραφή του Μνημονίου συμμετείχαν επίσης οι κ.κ. Gui Shuangying -Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Yan Guiming -Dean of the School of Nursing, Zhou Yadong-Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Yang Yonghui- Deputy Dean of the Second Affiliated Hospital και Li Hui-Section Chief of the Foreign Affairs Office του Πανεπιστημίου.

Από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας, Θρησκευμάτων και Αθλητισμού (ΥΠΑΙΘΑ) την νέα συνεργασία χαιρέτισε ο Γενικός Γραμματέας Ανώτατης Εκπαίδευσης κ. Οδυσσέας- Ιωάννης Ζώρας, ο οποίος τόνισε τη σημασία της για τη διεθνοποίηση των ελληνικών Ιδρυμάτων Ανώτατης Εκπαίδευσης στο ραγδαία μεταβαλλόμενο διεθνές ακαδημαϊκό περιβάλλον. Το Μνημόνιο Συνεργασίας με το Κινέζικο πανεπιστήμιο προστίθεται στις ενέργειες για την ενίσχυση της εξωστρέφειας των ελληνικών Ιδρυμάτων Ανώτατης Εκπαίδευσης τις οποίες αναλαμβάνει το Ι.Κ.Υ. στο πλαίσιο του ευρύτερου σχεδιασμού της πολιτικής ηγεσίας του ΥΠΑΙΘΑ προς την κατεύθυνση αυτή.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MοU) was signed on 28/11/2023 between the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) and the Anhui University of Chinese Medicine with a view to providing scholarships for Professors of Medicine of the Greek University Medical Schools in order to get official training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of IKY em. Professor Michael Koutsilieris and the Professor of Medicine and Party Secretary at the Anhui University of Chinese Medicine Mr. Wang Qi singed the MοU at IKY premises in the presence of Gui Shuangying -Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Yan Guiming -Dean of the School of Nursing, Zhou Yadong-Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, Yang Yonghui- Deputy Dean of the Second Affiliated Hospital and Li Hui-Section Chief of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Anhui University.

In his message on the occasion of the signing of the MοU, Prof. Odysseas-Ioannis Zoras, the Secretary General, Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sport stressed the importance of this new cooperation program in the rapidly changing, global higher education landscape and its significance in the effort “to spearhead Greek universities internationalization efforts with Chinese universities”.

The MοU with the Anhui University of Chinese Medicine brings IKY one step further in its commitment to support the extroversion of the Greek HEIs, in line with current national policy planning in the area of Higher Education.
