The State Scholarships Foundation participated in the 5th International Conference “Artificial Intelligence – eLearning – eCreativity 2024” organised by the Department of Primary Education of the University of Crete.
In the framework of the International Conference, the Erasmus+ National Agency/IKY, in cooperation with the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Crete, organised an Erasmus+ Info Day on Friday, 24 May 2024. On Saturday, 25 May 2024 students were also informed on the mobility opportunities offered by Erasmus+ in higher education as well as on the scholarships awarded by IKY.
During the press conference, Ms. Vana Sotiropoulou, Head of the European Union Programmes stated the following: “The Erasmus+ programme embraces the entire world of education and all forms of education. On a personal level, through the mobility of individuals and partnerships, it provides participants with opportunities to develop their own skills, carry out a traineeship or become acquainted with the education systems of other countries participating in the programme. On an organisation-level, it provides opportunities for partnerships with peer institutions across the word, opportunities for strategic development and, eventually, opportunities for the internationalization of these institutions”.
A total of 1200 people (learners, teachers, students, parents) from Greece and abroad participated in the conference activities, while through the experiential workshops and the speeches given, participants became acquainted with artificial intelligence as a tool and how it can have a creative and effective contribution to education.
