Announcement of a New Program for Vulnerable Social Groups (EKΟ), Academic Year 2022–2023

ANNOUNCEMENT

The State Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.), within the framework of the Action “Scholarship Programme for Diligent Students Belonging to Vulnerable Social Groups (E.K.O.) and Large Families – Academic Year 2022-2023”, announces an estimated 3.000 undergraduate scholarships for diligent students studying at Higher Educational Institutions and Higher Military Educational Institutions in Greece and belonging to Vulnerable Social Groups and large families (three or more children) with low incomes, aiming to ensure their equal participation in higher education.

In addition, further support is provided for the participation of candidates with any form of disability (physical, mental, intellectual, sensory) by at least 50% (Candidates of Special Category A), as well as candidates who are parents with three or more children or family members with three or more children (dependent or not) (Candidates of Special Category B). This support is achieved by allocating/committing up to 100 scholarships, equally distributed among the Candidates of the two Special Categories, namely up to fifty (50) scholars in the Special Category A and up to fifty (50) scholars in the Special Category B.

Interested applicants must submit their application through the online platform (https://ams.iky.gr) until Thursday, July 31th 2025, at 16:00.

Candidates are advised to carefully review the “Call for Applicants” and its Annex before submitting their online application.
