The State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) organized a New Year’s celebration on Wednesday 8th January 2025 at IKY’s event hall with the presence of the Administrative Board of IKY and IKY’ executives and staff.
The President of IKY’s Administrative Board, Mrs Vasso Kinti, wished to everyone a happy and creative year, and expressed her gratitude to IKY’s staff for their support and cooperation to the Administrative Board over the past three months, since taking office.
She also emphasized that this year marks “a new beginning in which we will work with dedication and teamwork to achieve our goals, which include supporting Greek youth in education, broadening the horizons of young people, supporting our scientific potential, promoting research, and internationalizing Greek education.”
She continued by stressing, “We will work systematically in all areas to promote IKY’s work. Our primary duty is to support young people and to carry out our work in a fair, responsible and transparent way, ensuring the effective use of funds entrusted to our organization by the Greek State, the EU and our donors.”
The “lucky coin” of New Year’s cake was found between the Department of Management and the Department of Special Programs of International Scholarships and European Programs.
