A working meeting was held in Italy between staff of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), acting as the Erasmus+ National Agency in Greece for the fields of Education and Training, and representatives of the corresponding Italian National Agency, INDIRE.
The meeting took the form of job shadowing and aimed at exchanging information and best practices regarding the dissemination and use of the European electronic platform EPALE, as both organizations operate as National Support Services for the EPALE platform in the field of Adult Education in Europe.
During the discussions, the communication strategies and tools employed by the National Agencies to ensure the effective dissemination of the Erasmus+ programme in their countries were presented.
Particular emphasis was placed on:
- the need to enhance adult participation in lifelong learning programmes,
- the opportunities and advantages of digital education,
- as well as Erasmus+ good practices supporting the inclusion of refugees and migrants.
In addition, the Greek delegation had the opportunity to visit the Municipal Library of Florence and to receive information on Adult Education projects implemented by local organizations, with a focus on Inclusion and Diversity.
