The National Erasmus+ Coordination Unit (IKY) encourages you to participate and contribute to the promotion of the Erasmus+ program and your approved projects.
📊 In 2024:
- 10,112 events took place across 60 countries
- Over 200 events were held in Greece, involving all educational institutions.
What are the Erasmus Days?
The Erasmus Days are your events, through which we celebrate the Erasmus+ program and European mobility. They are the actions of all those who implement or participate in an approved project. The goal is to showcase European values, the benefits of mobility, and the outcomes of your projects.
What is their content?
This year, we celebrate the fundamental values of the European Union—a common foundation that unites us beyond cultures, languages, and borders. The six values at the heart of the EU are:
- Human Dignity
- Freedom
- Democracy
- Equality
- Rule of Law
- Human Rights
These values reflect a shared ideal upheld by EU member states—an ideal based on inclusion, tolerance, justice, solidarity, and non-discrimination.
💫 Through Erasmus+, we bring these principles to life—empowering youth, enhancing cultural exchange, and building a brighter, united future.
Why participate?
The Erasmus Days aim to promote the Program and approved projects and to highlight organizations that implement or have implemented projects. You can choose the type and format of your events. Organize them according to your institution’s capabilities, your project’s objectives, your creativity, and the needs of your participants.
Activities you can implement:
- Concerts, festivals, film screenings
- Conferences, presentations, round tables
- Meetings, exhibitions
- Online conferences, webinars, Facebook Live
- Testimonials, open meetings
- Other types of events
How are they conducted?
You can implement in-person, online, and hybrid activities, provided the conditions allow, and utilize every available means.
How to participate?
To take part in Erasmus Days 2025, the process is simple. All you need to do is follow these three steps:
- Organize an event aimed at showcasing the impact of your approved project or the experiences of the beneficiaries. If you’ve already started planning an event, consider the Erasmus Days as an opportunity for maximum visibility.
- Register your event on the Erasmus Days website and download the digital communication materials.
- Communicate your event to the public, policymakers, media, and social media.
Don’t forget to include the hashtag #ErasmusDays in your social media posts. During your event, you can post photos and videos on the social media pages you manage.
