Pursuant to Ministerial Decision No 91811/Ζ1/22-7-2022 (Government Gazette Issue No 3983/B’/27-7-2022), the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) has been delivering an award programme of two (2) scholarships for a four-year in duration since the academic year 2022-2023. The scholarship amounts to 1.000,00 EURO per month and is funded by EYDAP (Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company). Beneficiaries are doctoral candidates who are undertaking their PhD studies at a Greek Higher Education Institution, in the following subject areas:
1. Provision of water and sewage services.
2. Design, construction, installation, commissioning, operation, management, maintenance, extension and renewal of water and sewage networks.
3. Pumping, desalination, processing, storage, transportation and distribution of any type of water.
4. Works and procedures for the collection, transportation, storage, processing, management and disposal of wastewater treated effluent.
Scholarships are expected to commence by the academic year the Call for applications opens.
